Blinds in each flat
Spain’s Horizontal Property Law treats elements serving only one flat as private: strap, winder, slats and motor of your window blind are paid by each owner unless the bylaws say otherwise.
Blinds in common areas
Lobby, hallway, meter room, community room or metal shutters on premises owned by the community: the repair is paid from common funds and coordinated by the administrator.
When the façade or appearance is affected
If the community requires a colour or model to keep the façade uniform, the owner still pays for their own blind but must respect that model. Check the minutes or bylaws before replacing it.
When to call
If you are the administrator or president, message us on WhatsApp with the address and the number of blinds: we invoice the community with a signed quote.
